'Phan' is the name of the ship of Dan and Phil. Many (though not all) Phans believe that the pair has some form of an intimate relationship with one another. Despite the wishes of many Phans; this, however, is not supported by either Dan or Phil and is not confirmed. The real life friendship between Dan and Phil is only publicly seen as platonic, and there is no proof of them being highly intimate with each other
